AMETEK Specialty Metal Products (SMP) is heading to Suzhou in China in June, where it will showcase its wide range of innovative medical-grade materials at the 17th edition of MedTech China. These metal products successfully support product development in safety-critical applications across Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics and Diagnostic Devices.
The SMP team will be at Booth B1-K304 in Hall B1-E1 at Suzhou lnternational Expo Centre from June 1-3, 2023.
Metallurgists representing the business will present a range of custom-engineered metal solutions for critical medical applications. These biocompatible products include precision metal strip, foil, and shaped wire produced to some of the thinnest gauges and tightest tolerances in the industry.
Applications range from cranial mesh and spinal cages to implantable device enclosures, coronary and vascular stents, and channel wire for MRI superconductors.
In addition, a range of medical tubing products will also be presented in high-quality stainless steel, titanium, and other specialty alloys. Orthopedic and cardio applications including trauma implants, heart valves, stents, and Cardiac Rhythm Management.

MedTech China brings nearly a thousand suppliers of medical design, technology, and manufacturing services to China’s medical device industry every year. The three-day event will have over 40,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors from 27 different countries and regions.
