Green Properties
Green strength and density were determined using specimens lubricated with 1% Acrawax C.
Sintered Mechanical and Physical Properties
Sintered properties were determined using test specimens blended with 1% Acrawax C and compacted to pre-selected pressures. The specimens were delubricated in air for 20 minutes at 950°F, then sintered in dissociated ammonia for 30 minutes at 2100°F and cooled in the water-jacketed furnace cooling zone.
