ALCLAD TM (DURANEL TM I or II)* ALCLAD consists of T-304 stainless steel clad to one side of a 2 or 3 Ply alloy 3004 (1145 on one or both sides) aluminum. The stainless steel claddings are normally .015" thick but can be as heavy as .250".
ALCOR TM 5 Ply (DURANEL TM III)* ALCOR 5 combines stainless steel with a core of aluminum. T-304 stainless steel cladding, .015" thick are bounded to both sides of 3 Ply 304 (1145 on each side) aluminum.
ALCOR TM 5 Ply Magnetic ALCOR 5 Ply Magnetic is a special combination of T-304 stainless steel bonded on one side of aluminum and magnetic 400 series stainless steel on the other side. This material can be used on an induction range as well as other ranges. Whilte the material is less ductile than either ALCOR5 or ALCOR 7, it can be used for limited drawn shapes.
ALCOR TM 7 Ply ALCOR 7, a patented AMETEK develoment, combines the durability and appearance of T-304 stainless steel with the magnetic characteristics of ferritic stainless steel.
